Welcome. We are the Colorado Chapter of the National Private Duty Association (NPDA)
We are Colorado's largest exclusively private duty home care agencies' professional association. We are companies that provide home care aides, companion care, homemaker services and may provide nursing services in the client's home or place of residence. "Private duty" means private pay. In other words, no government monies are used for the cost of care. The most common methods for covering the cost of private duty home care is through long term care insurance benefits, out of pocket, or other types of savings arrangements. NPDA Members have adopted and agree to subscribe to the following core values as they relate to serving customers and employing care providers:
  • Compassion
  • Sensitivity to client needs
  • Competency
  • Coordination and collaboration
  • Safety
  • Respect for client dignity and choice
  • Integrity and regard for client privacy and confidentiality
Member of the National Private Duty Association Colorado chapter are licensed by the state, employ trained caregivers and assume all responsibility for the payroll, insurance and all related taxes.
